Manuela Paz
My artwork is an articulation of my subconscious. I strongly believe that artistic _expression is a tool that consciously communicates subconscious matter.  My method of creating art lies in an instinctual manner deriving directly from intimate experiences. I have learned this through others perceptions and critiques of my work; their comments reveal my unconscious intention. The changes in my life inspire the work, and the photographs represent fragments of my experiences. Set indoors using a sensual, suggestive, feminine language, a series of scenarios are created that evoke a suspended emotional and psychological state.
