Monique de Latour is a visual artist originally from New Zealand. She has been living in Harlem for the past 10 years, teaching art & design to teenagers at Harlem Textile Works and The Children’s Art Carnival.
Her influences come from the world around her, the sights, sounds and experiences of everyday living. She works with different mediums - illustration, painting, photography, and textile design, often combining them to create mixed-media artworks.
