Paris Collage:
This series of 13 collages were created between 1994 and 1995. 
I attempt to explore relationships between individuals, groups, line, shape, form and texture.  My work is narrative and often incorporate texts I have read or written.  In my search for answers to contemporary issues, personal questions, and the exploration of self as documentation.  The use of visual symbols ie. masks and faces, symbolizes duality, the ability to reveal or hide.  These forms are repeated as I attempt to exam popular ideologies.  I attempt to reconcile contradictions and conundrums in my world.  The masks form is used as a metaphor for who we were and who we’d like to be.  Text is used as a means to suggest, guide, solicit and ignite thought
