D.Shayne Aldrich I have been painting with oils for a about a year and a half now, after several years of working three dimensionally, and I am thoroughly enjoying sharing my imagination through this medium. I have discovered it seems to translate to the viewer somewhat better than my 3 dimensional explorations have in the past. I am still working with themes of spirituality, life, death, sexuality, and of course chickens. I feel that I am taking a humorous approach at subjects that tend to be somewhat heavy and I think that people tend to enjoy this very much if they aren’t the type to run away screaming.
