Dr. Mary Boncher Dr. Mary Katherine Boncher is a psychologist and educator, who uses the pen name mboncher for her poetry and essay writtings. Her creative writings are based on her work as a psychotherapist and political activist. She tells the stories of the children, families, and communities with whom she works and the political, economic, emotional, and spiritual infrastructures which intersect and are the underpinnings of their lives. She presents her writings through traditional readings and installation/performance pieces, visual/poetry art pieces and artist books in collaboration with the visual artist, Diógenes Ballester.
