Joshua Mark Phillippe Time in the studio is always spent in search. Regardless of whether the work grows off canvas or found objects I am always trying to find the painting, layout some form of harmony, experience the medium in a fresh way. I enjoy seeing new things or discovering something I was unaware of. These are the moments I work for, when, somehow, material comes alive and there is something there that wasn’t there before.
